We are just a normal family that desires to live as debt free as possible and be a blessing to others. This blog is about part of our journey to get there. operation board the windows

Getting closer to closing day.  Today we got the paperwork to close on the house.  It is all in order and we have our cashiers check ready for Tuesday.  We went out to the property and walked around for a while. We wanted to get the house all closed up so when the storms come this weekend, there is less water going in.  By closed up, I mean nailing boards on the windows without glass.  LOL  It was fun to watch the girls run and play in the yard.  Then even more fun when we moved the back steps right before leaving only to find 5 little baby kittens looking at us.  I guess we have our first "barn" cats!  Needless to say, that is all the girls can talk about!
